McCaffery would have been open on either route, as it looked like the LB assigned to cover him had just been blinded by headlights and was wearing cement cleats to boot. Does he move 1 yard in either direction before the ball is caught?

OK, I stand corrected...he moves 5 yards straight back doubling the TE (Olson). He chose...poorly.

Yea, that’s the funniest part of this exchange. Matthews calls out the wheel route...and the Packers defense wouldn't have been able to cover it even if the Panthers had run it.
