Well, that subject line is all grown up now.
As part of ESPN's package today on players on the hotseat, we've looked league-wide and found ten spots that teams left unfilled this offseason.

The 2004 NFL Draft was supposed to be one of the deepest and best ever. Six years later, how does it look? Sean McCormick breaks down the draft, position by position.

Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
I appreciate the Arrested Development allusion.
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
Sounds like the title of the worst adult film ever.
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
At least it is better than the ten thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
Pats backup QB spot is the second biggest hole out of any team in the league? It's a hole, no question, but I think this article overstates it a bit.
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
Yeah its pretty hard to believe the Patriots backup QB spot is the 2nd biggest glaring hole that wasn't filled with a "*starting-caliber* free agent or a prominent draft pick."
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
You might consider using this following contextual clue that lists the positions of each of the holes as numbered:
QB
QB
RB
WR
RT
RT
DE
DT
OLB
CB
It's not an ordered list.
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
Also is it really that crazy to think the lack of a capable backup for an age 32 QB coming off major knee surgery (where he suffered a series of post-op setbacks) isn't a potentially large-sized hole?
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
that would be 4000 thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire, but yeah.
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill DeAngelo Hall?
Re: ESPN INSIDER: Ten Holes Left Unfilled
Maybe they can fill some holes with a zone?
